Visit of SDB Vicar General Fr. Stefano

Posted on Tue February 28, 2023Tue February 28, 2023 by adminssdfma

FMA Provincial House, Bangalore: Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

We the sisters of campus community had the joy of welcoming and interacting with Rev. Fr. Stefano Martoglio SDB the Vicar General of Salesian Family accompanied by Fr. Jose, the Provincial and Fr. Shalbin Kalanchery, the Vice provincial on 15th November 2022. At the entrance of the house, Sr. Lucy Rose draped a shawl and Sr. Monica gave a bouquet and welcomed him. Srs. Rosy Lopez and Shiny welcomed the Provincial and Vice provincial respectively with shawls. A welcome song was chorused by the CPCs and the Sisters after which all entered the chapel and thanked the Lord with a hymn. After taking a group photo they had some refreshments in the refectory. Fr. Stefano addressed the Sisters of the campus communities. He repeatedly expressed his thanks for the warm welcome he received. He manifested his joy in his maiden visit to India and glad to have had this chance. As a Provincial in his birth place in Turin he used to visit the FMA houses as well, as a sign of Family Spirit. He shared some news from the Salesian Family. The presence of Salesian Family in India is very important, he said. Like Europe, India too ranks as a continent for its number and for its Leadership. He shared his joy for this fantastic experience of this visit to India through which he grows.

Mother Provincial thanked Fr. Stefano for availing his time to be with us. He has penned a few lines in the “Visitors’ Book” too. She also thanked Fr. Provincial and Fr. Shalbin for accompanying him. They departed to KJC after bidding farewell to everyone.

    About Us
