Report on the Tentative Programme for Juniors and Young Sisters (Up to 10 Years of Profession)
Organized by the Center Formation Sector
Animator: Sr. Anelfreda Miranda
Dates: 10th–11th September 2025

A special formation Programme was held from the 10th to the 11th of September 2025 for juniors and young sisters with up to ten years of religious profession. The event was organized under the guidance of the Center Formation Sector and was animated by Sr. Anelfreda Miranda. The sessions were based on key themes from the book “Guidelines for the Formation of the Temporary Vows.”

Objectives of the Programme:

  • To deepen the understanding of the choices to be prioritised during the period of temporary profession.
  • To create space for reflection on the dreams and aspirations of temporary professed sisters.
  • To facilitate a personal encounter with the vocation journey.
  • To offer time for evaluation and sharing of experiences in community and formation life.

Key Topics Covered:

  1. Choices to be Prioritised – Exploring the essential values, commitments, and discernment areas during the temporary vow period.
  2. The Dreams of Temporary Professed Sisters – Encouraging participants to articulate their personal and communal hopes.
  3. Reflection on Personal Encounter – Promoting awareness of one’s journey with God, the community, and self.
  4. Evaluation of the Personal Encounter – Assessing personal growth, challenges, and spiritual insights gained.

Group Activities:
Participants were divided into groups of five and were given reflection questions by Sr. Anelfreda. Each group was tasked with:

  • Discussing the questions in depth.
  • Sharing their insights within the group.
  • Presenting their collective responses to the entire assembly.

This exercise fostered active engagement, deep sharing, and communal discernment among the sisters, encouraging mutual understanding and support.

Concluding Session:
The programme was gracefully concluded in the presence of our beloved Mother Provincial, Rev. Sr. Lucy Rose Ozhukayil, who attentively listened to the dreams and aspirations shared by the sisters—for their communities and for the Province as a whole. Her presence was a source of encouragement and maternal care.

Acknowledgement:
A heartfelt thank you was extended to Sr. Anelfreda Miranda for her thoughtful animation, enriching input, and for creating a reflective and participative atmosphere throughout the programme.
