ADMA Commenced at Auxilium, Kottiyam

The Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA) was introduced to the FMA youth animators meet at Kottiyam by Rev. Fr. Joe Kallupura SDB. There was a call to spread the devotion to Mary Most Holy and to invoke her intercession to dethrone the powers of evil from ourselves and the society. Secondly, it was to get members for the Salesian Family through this 4th group of the Salesian Society during the Birth Bicentenary of Don Bosco.

FMAs at Auxilium Kottiyam enthusiastically launched out to gather members to the Salesian Family through spreading devotion to our Blessed Mother and to the Holy Eucharist according to the Don Bosco way, giving stress to the worthy reception of the two sacraments of Reconciliation and Communion .These members are called to pray for vocations to priesthood and religious life, for family life, for youth, for the conversion of sinners, for the souls in purgatory and for all the graces they stand in need. Obtaining of Plenary indulgences on the nine specified feasts on fulfilling the simple conditions is a privilege granted to the members of ADMA. The Catholic teachers of our school and the Catholic parents of our students were invited and the norms and requirements of the Association were explained to them. 70 members signed up and now we are ready to practice for a year before making the simple, private but explicit promise.
